2023 Summer Special Recap

The Summer Special contained great energy from start to finish at OGP Anaheim. It displayed great talent and players showed great effort on both ends of the floor all weekend long. With schools such as Mater Dei, Canyon, Orange Lutheran, and more, there was great competition and coaching at the Summer Special. Up next is the “Fall Tipoff” which takes place at OGP Ladera on September 16-17. Don’t miss out on a chance to display your talent and compete against high caliber players.

Canyon was the only team to come out of the frosh/soph division undefeated. They came to the tournament on a mission as they beat their opponents by 10 or more in every game. La Mirada had an impressive weekend making spectacular plays all weekend long, as we saw two players on La Mirada have some fun by one player throwing a lob to his teammate off the glass and him finishing it off with a dunk. They won every game by 15 plus including defeating a very solid Canyon squad. La Habra also went 4-0 on the weekend and had a scare in their first game of the weekend.
